1 Scope
This part specifies the methods for determining the contents of lead, cadmium, iron, copper, tin, aluminium, arsenic, stibium, magnesium, lanthanum and cerium in zinc and zinc alloy.
This part is applicable to the determination of the contents of lead, cadmium, iron, copper, tin, aluminium, arsenic, stibium, magnesium, lanthanum and cerium in zinc and zinc alloy.
The content ranges of determination are listed in Table 1.

2 Methods and Principles
Dissolve the test portion with dilute nitric acid, and use the inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer in such nitric acid medium to determine the contents of lead, cadmium, iron, copper, tin, aluminium, arsenic, stibium, magnesium, lanthanum and cerium in zinc and zinc alloy.
