1 Scope
This standard specifies ventilation and heat insulation road test method of cab and passenger compartment when motor vehicle is driven in thermal climate
This standard is applicable to all kinds of motor vehicles.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
Estimator
Those who can make a subjective assessment on vehicle ventilation and heat insulation.
4 Test Conditions
4.1 Vehicle state
4.1.1 Sealing of cab or passenger compartment and thermal insulating layer, vehicle body painting, ventilation device and doors and windows shall meet vehicle ex-work condition.
4.1.2 The thermometric line shall be regular, not affecting driving and testing operation.
4.1.3 Before the test, the vehicle interior cleaning work shall be completed.
4.1.4 The preparation requirements of other test vehicles shall be in accordance with GB/T 12534.
4.2 Meteorological Conditions
a) Weather: fine
b) Air temperature: environment temperature is above 35 ℃, which means the air temperature of ventilation under the shadow when motor vehicle is in test drive, and the height of thermometer in measurement point is 1.5 meters.
c) Humidity: relative humidity in 30% ~ 95 %
d) Wind speed: not larger than 3 m/s.
4.3 Test apparatus
a) Remote temperature: the accuracy is 0.5 ℃
b) Multi-point thermometer: the accuracy is 0.5 ℃;
c) Wind speed meter.
4.4 Test tracks
Hard and smooth asphalt or cement pavement with a gradient not larger than 5%.
4.5 Estimators
a) The quantity of evaluator is 3 to 7 according to the number of measuring point.
b) The estimators shall be possibly made up by people with different genders, ages, and heights.
c) Estimators shall be in good condition when in estimation
d) Estimators shall be acquaint with vehicle and receive relevant training.
e) Drivers must have skilled driving skills.
