1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This Code is formulated with view to normalizing construction and quality acceptance of non-ferrous metals processing mechanical installation engineering, unifying acceptance criteria, strengthening process control and ensuring engineering quality.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the construction and quality acceptance of constructed, renovated and extended installation engineerings such as melting and casting, rolling, extrusion, finishing, uncoiling and recoiling, annealing and heating auxiliary equipment.
1.0.3 Construction of non-ferrous metals processing mechanical installation engineering shall meet the requirements of the design and accompanied technical documents.
1.0.4 Construction and quality acceptance of non-ferrous metals processing mechanical installation engineering shall not only meet the requirements of this Code, but also comply with those specified in the current relevant national standards.
2 Basic Requirement
2.0.1 Construction site shall be provided with such relevant technical documents as construction drawings, technical standards, accompanied technical documents, construction organization design and construction schemes.
2.0.2 Accuracy grade of measuring instruments adopted for the construction and quality acceptance shall not be lower than that of the tested object and the instruments shall pass the metrological verification and calibration and within the specified validity period of periodic verification.
2.0.3 In the process of installation, machines shall be subjected to self-inspection, handover inspection and special inspection, which shall form inspection records.
2.0.4 For the concealed works during the installation of the machines, organizations concerned shall be notified to conduct acceptance prior to concealment and acceptance records of concealed works shall be formed.
2.0.5 No-load test of the machines shall be inspected as a dominant item and those which are not subjected to no-load test and fail to pass the no-load test shall not be subjected to acceptance.
2.0.6 Names of subitem and sub-section works of machine installation engineering shall meet the requirements of the current national standard GB 50654 Unified Standards for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Non-ferrous Metals Industrial Installation Engineering.
2.0.7 Construction of welding engineering in the machine installation engineering shall be in accordance with those specified in the current national standard GB 50236 Code for Construction of Field Equipment, Industrial Pipe Welding Engineering. Quality acceptance of welding engineering shall meet the requirements of the current national standard GB 50683 Code for Acceptance of Field Equipment, Industrial Pipe Welding Construction Quality.
2.0.8 Procedures, organization and record filling of engineering quality acceptance shall meet the requirements of the current national standard GB 50654 Unified Standards for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Non-ferrous Metals Industrial Installation Engineering.
2.0.9 If the engineering quality does not meet the requirements, it shall be treated according to the following requirements:
1 The engineering of repaired or replaced members (accessories) shall be subjected to acceptance again.
2 For the engineering which is subjected to repair or reinforcement treatment and is still able to satisfy structure safety and use function even after changes in overall dimension, the acceptance may be conducted according to technical schemes and negotiated documents.
2.0.10 Where the engineering quality fails to meet the design and quality criteria requirements and still fails to meet the safe use requirement after repair or rework, this engineering must not be subjected to acceptance.
2.0.11 Construction environment, and occupational health and safety management of machine installation engineering shall meet the following requirements:
1 The construction site shall establish sound environmental and occupational health and safety management systems, and fulfil environmental and occupational health and safety production responsibility system.
