1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to ensuring the quality of communication engineering for fiber to the home in residential districts and residential buildings and unifying the technical requirements of such works as engineering construction and quality inspection, follow-up inspection and completion acceptance.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to communication engineering for fiber to the home in newly-built residential districts and residential buildings as well as construction and acceptance of reconstruction and extension engineering for fiber to the home communication facilities in residential districts and residential buildings.
1.0.3 Communication facilities such as underground communication duct, wiring pipeline network, telecommunication room, equipment room, etc. in newly-built residential districts and residential buildings shall be constructed and accepted synchronously with the residential districts and residential buildings.
1.0.4 Construction and acceptance of communication engineering for fiber to the home in residential districts and residential buildings shall not only comply with the requirements stipulated in this code, but also comply with those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
2 Examination before Operation
2.1 General Requirement
2.1.1 Before engineering construction, equipment examination shall be carried out and the equipment examination results shall be recorded.
2.1.2 The form, specification, quantity and quality of the equipment used in the engineering shall meet the design requirements, and the equipment without quality certificate, end-of-manufacturing inspection certification material or quality document or failing to meet the design requirements shall not be used in the engineering.
2.1.3 Equipment external packaging shall be intact and free from damage, depression or damping.
2.2 Examination of Field
2.2.1 The position, area, height, load bearing, etc. of equipment room and telecommunication room shall meet the design requirements.
