1.0.1 This code was formulated with a view to preventing and reducing the fire hazard in textile engineering and protecting personal and property safety.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to fire protection design of constructed, extended and renovated textile engineering; thereinto, the fire protection design of textile and clothing factory shall also meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard "Code of Design on Building Fire Protection and Prevention" (GB 50016).
1.0.3 Fire protection design of textile engineering must comply with the fire work guideline of "Putting Prevention First, and Combining Prevention with Control". As for the production characteristics of textile engineering, the relation between production and safety is treated correctly, and effective fire protection measures are adopted to achieve safety and usability, technical advancement as well as economy and rationality.
1.0.4 Fire protection design of the textile engineering shall meet not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant national standards.
