1.0.1 To control fouling, scaling and corrosion caused by water quality in industrial recirculating cooling water system and to guarantee the efficiency of heat exchange and the life of equipment and also to make the design of industrial recirculating cooling water treatment be advance in technology and reasonable in economy, this Code is worked out.
1.0.2 This Code applies to the design of industrial recirculating cooling water treatment of indirect heat exchange of newly built, expanded and rehabilitated projects.
1.0.3 The design of industrial recirculating cooling water treatment shall meet the requirements of safe production, environment protection, energy saving and water saving as well as to facilitate the construction, maintenance and management.
1.0.4 On the basis of continuous summing up practical production experience and scientific experiments, new technologies.shall be used actively and cautiously in the design of industrial recirculating cooling water treatment.
1.0.5 The design of industrial recirculating cooling water treatment shall, apart from compliance with this Code, also meet what specified in national standards and specifications in force.
