1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code was formulated with a view to implementing the national technical and economic policies and living up to state-of-the-art technologies, economy and rationality, safety and usability as well as ensuring quality in the design and construction of cold-formed thin-wall steel structure.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to design and construction of cold-formed thin-wall steel structure of construction engineering.
1.0.3 This code does not cover the special requirements of bearing structure directly bearing dynamic load and cold-formed thin-wall steel structure suffering deep erosion action.
1.0.4 The design principle of this code is established according to the current national standard "Unified Standard for Reliability Design of Building Structures" GB50068.
1.0.5 The design of cold-formed thin-wall steel structure shall be carried out combining engineering practice, reasonably selecting material, structure scheme and structure measure, assuring structure meeting strength, stability and rigidity requirements in transportation, installation and application process, and meeting fire protection and corrosion protection requirements.
1.0.6 Except for those requirements stipulated in this code, those in the current relevant national standards shall also be complied with for the engineering and construction of cold-formed thin-wall steel structure.
