1 Scope
This standard specifies the dimension, profile, weight, technical requirements, test methods, test rules, package, marks and quality specification of seamless steel pipes for low and medium pressure boilers.
This standard is applicable to produce the quality carbon structural steels and hot-rolled (squeezed, extended) & cold-drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipes used for low and medium pressure boilers as well as locomotive boilers with various structures.
