1 Scope
This standard specifies safety requirements for and measures taken for hydraulic press brakes.
This standard is applicable to hydraulic press brakes, which are intended for cold working of metal or material partly of metal (hereinafter referred to as press brakes), which are to be used in the same way to work other sheet materials such as cardboard or plastic. This standard also applies to ancillary devices which are an integral part of the press brake.
