This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage, safety of general diesel fuels.
This standard is applicable to the general diesel fuels made from petroleum or added with additives, which are used for such compression ignition engines as tractor, diesel locomotive, construction machinery, inland ships and generating unit, as well as for tri-wheel and low-speed vehicles specified in GB 19756.
Note: Other special purposes beyond the above may be negotiated by the supplier and the demander.
