本标准规定了射钉弹的术语和定义、分类与标记、要求、测试方法、抽样检验程序、标志、包装、运输、贮存。本标准适用于射钉弹的设计、生产、检验、销售和使用,但不适用于非金属弹壳和无壳射钉弹。
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, requirements, test methods, sampling inspection procedures, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of powder loads.
This standard is applicable to the design, production, inspection, sale and use of powder loads, but it is not applicable to non-metallic and caseless powder loads.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 18763 and GB/T 18981 as well as the following apply.

caliber
basic size of the diameter of the body or bottle necking of the powder load
3.2
rim fire
hitting of the bottom edge of the powder load to make it ignite
3.3
center fire
hitting of the bottom center of the powder load to make it ignite
3.4
sealing
sealing the mouth of the cartridge case so that the charge in the cartridge will not fall out
3.5
crimped mouth
form of sealing of powder load in which the mouth of the cartridge case is tightened to form a star crimp
3.6
rolled mouth
form of sealing of powder load in which the mouth of the cartridge case is rolled but not tightened
3.7
body
the longer cylindrical part of the powder load
3.8
bottle necking
reduced in the diameter of the front end of the powder load body
3.9
color code
color attached to the powder load to indicate the power level
3.10
single cases
powder load fed in a single way on a powder actuated tool
3.11
disc
disc-shaped ammunition feeder

cannelure
crimped mouth of the powder load
