1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, model designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, instructions, marking, storage and transportation of nitrogen injection and oxygen reduction fire prevention device.
This standard is applicable to nitrogen injection and oxygen reduction fire prevention device.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

Nitrogen injection and oxygen reduction fire prevention device
A fire prevention device that separates the nitrogen and oxygen in the air, injects nitrogen to the protection area and controls the oxygen concentration in the protection area to prevent the combustibles therein from burning.
3.2
Nitrogen generation assembly
An assembly that is able to separate the nitrogen from the air.
