1 Scope
This standard specifies the mechanical and technical requirements, test and inspection rules for alternating current static watt-hour meter.
This standard is applicable to manufacture, use and ordering of classes 1 and 2 installed-type single-phase static energy meters (hereinafter referred to as energy meters) for measuring AC active energy with reference frequency of 50 Hz (or 60 Hz).
