1.1 Scope
This Standard applies to a.c. switchgear and controlgear, designed for indoor and outdoor installation and for operation at service frequency of 50 Hz on systems having voltages up to and including 3.0 kV.
This standard applies to all high-voltage switchgear and controlgear except as otherwise specified.
The scope exceeding the requirements of this standard may be additionally specified in the corresponding standard.
