1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is applicable to preparation, erection and acceptance of the following piping of thermal power plant and district heating network:
(1) Main steam piping and corresponding reheated steam piping as well as main water supply piping of thermal generator set with 600MW or below subcritical parameter;
(2) General steam-water piping, district heating network piping and compressed air piping within the range of thermal power plant;
(3) Temporary piping for construction.
1.0.2 This code is not applicable to:
(1) Cast iron piping;
(2) Reinforced concrete piping;
(3) Non-ferrous metal piping (titanium, copper, etc.);
(4) Nonmetallic piping (plastic, etc.);
(5) Nonmetallic lining piping;
(6) Composite metal piping.
1.0.3 Special erection and acceptance of the following various pipings shall not only comply with the technical requirements of this code, but also the requirements of relevant professional section of "The Code of Erection and Acceptance for Electric Power Construction":
(1) Various pipings within the range of steam turbine and generator body;
(2) Various pipings within the range of boiler body and the piping of smoke, air, coal, fuel oil, fuel gas and ash handling system;
(3) Oil piping and various pipings for water treatment;
(4) Various pipings for hydrogen production and hydrogen supply system;
(5) Thermal instrumentation piping;
(6) Oxygen and acetylene piping.
1.0.4 The erection and acceptance work of imported thermal generator set piping shall comply with this code unless otherwise specifically specified in the construction contract.
1.0.5 Power plant piping installation engineering shall be erected by professional team with necessary technical force, testing means and management level.
1.0.6 Power plant piping erection shall be carried out according to the capital construction procedure and shall be provided with the following conditions:
(1) Design and other technical data are complete and construction drawings have passed joint trial;
(2) Erection organization design and erection scheme of power plant piping works have been prepared and examined and approved;
(3) Technical disclosure and necessary technical training as well as assessment have been completed;
(4) Labour, materials, machines and tools, and testing means are basically complete;
(5) Erection environment meets the requirements;
(6) Water, electricity, gas, etc. for erection meet the erection demand.
1.0.7 Manufacture quality and selection of pipe, pipe fittings and piping auxiliaries shall meet the current national or professional technical standards.
1.0.8 The safekeeping of various pipes, pipe fittings and piping auxiliaries shall comply with the current SDJ 68 "The Code for Maintenance and Safekeeping of Thermal Power Equipment in Electric Power Construction" and corresponding supplementary provisions.
1.0.9 Various pipings shall be erected according to the design drawings; if the design needs to be revised or substitute material needs to be adopted, submit to the design organization and transact according to relevant system.
1.0.10 Cutting and welding work in piping erection shall not only comply with the relevant requirements of this code, but also the corresponding requirements of the current DL 5007 "The Code of Erection and Acceptance for Electric Power Construction (Welding Section)".
1.0.11 Thermal insulation and painting of piping shall comply with SDJ 245 "The Code of Erection and Acceptance for Electric Power Construction (Boiler Unit Section)". Painting of piping shall comply with DL 5011 "The Code of Erection and Acceptance for Electric Power Construction (Section of Steam Turbine Set)".
1.0.12 The safety, environment and fire protection of power plant piping erection shall comply with the relevant requirements of the current DL 5009.1 "Code of Safety Operation in Power Engineering Construction (Steam Power Plants)".
2 Terms
2.0.1 Pipe fittings——General term of spare parts which consist of piping system together with pipe, including elbow, bent pipe, tee, reducing pipe, stub tube, flange, plug, end socket, etc.
2.0.2 Piping auxiliaries——External support component used for piping system, including supporter and hanger, gasket, sealing element, fastening piece, etc.
2.0.3 Bent pipe——Pipe that its axis is bent.
2.0.4 Elbow——Bent pipe with bend radius less than or equal to 2D and straight pipe section less than 1D.
2.0.5 Miter elbow——Elbow welded in a plane where the bending angle is equant with two or more straight pipe sections (also called welded elbow or mitre elbow).
2.0.6 Calculation wall thickness of straight pipe——Minimum wall thickness of straight pipe plus negative deviation value of straight pipe wall thickness.
2.0.7 Supervision section——Pipe section installed on horizontal section of main steam piping and high-temperature reheat piping at design temperature larger than 450℃ and used for creep supervision.
2.0.8 Creep measurement point——Device or mark arranged on supervision section or steam piping and used for creep deformation measurement for piping.
2.0.9 Piping classification——Power plant piping may be classified by taking the design pressure P as main parameter, see Table 2.0.9.
