This standard applies to the power supply system of urban (including suburb) trolleybus and tramway for passenger transport.
2 Terminology
2.1 System format
It refers to the current system, feeding method as well as a.c. and d.c. voltage level adopted by the system.
2.2 Regional open-type feed
It refers to the radial feeding method adopted for the trolley wire network section of certain area with the rectifier station as center.
2.3 Electric trolley rectifier station
Substation supplying required d.c. power supply for electric vehicle.
